El Salvador National Barista Championships
Miguel is off to El Salvador to help Judge at their National Barista Championships March 9-11. The winner will represent El Salvador at The World Barista Championships in Seattle, April 9-12. Watch out for the Lifestream link and updates as the competition gets underway.
United States Coffee Championships
The United States Coffee Championships (USCC) just finished up in Long Beach, CA this past Feb. 19-22. It is a weekend long event that showcases the best of what the US has to offer in Specialty Coffee in five different competitions. Our very own Miguel Vicuña was there on all the action as a Head Judge for the United States Barista Championship (USBC) and as a Technical Judge for the United States Latte Art Championship (USLAC) We have crowned winners in the USBC, USLAC, US Brewers Cup Championship, Cup Tasters, Roasters Choice. Catch all the action on Lifestream here and see all the coffee action from last week. Each Champion will the go to represent the US in the World Coffee Championships! Our USBC Champion will be heading to Seattle in April for SCAA Expo and The World Barista Championship (WBC).
